Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about foil surfing, wake surfing, and e-foiling at Lake of the Ozarks.
E-foiling uses an electric hydrofoil board that lifts you 1 to 3 feet above the water; no boat needed. It is one of the fastest-growing watersports in the world, with participation increasing 30 to 40% year over year. We use Lift eFoils, the industry standard for safety and performance.
Foil surfing means riding a hydrofoil board behind a boat. Once you are up on the foil, the board lifts out of the water and it feels like flying. Expert coaching is included with every session to get you up and riding.
Wake surfing lets you surf an endless wave behind the boat with no rope. The boat creates a continuous wave that you ride freely. It is perfect for all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced surfers.
No experience is needed. Our professional coaches work with complete beginners through advanced riders. We will meet you at your skill level and help you progress at your own pace.
Sessions are typically 1 to 2 hours. Each rider gets multiple sets on the water, so everyone in your group gets plenty of ride time.
Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, and water. We provide all equipment including boards, foils, life jackets, and safety gear.
Safety is our top priority. All coaches are certified and experienced. We use Coast Guard approved equipment and conduct a thorough safety briefing before every session.
